"FREI" workshop with... Enrica Ferrucci
FREI architectural tours with construction workshops and construction box to go.
To the exhibition 'The Olympic City of Munich' in the Architecture Museum of the TU Munich, Pinakothek der Moderne.
Munich's flagship is the curved transparent tent roof in the Olympic Park, where you can even walk. It was built on the occasion of the Olympics 50 years ago and caused a lot of furore at that time: How were the architects and engineers able to make the seemingly filigree concept idea buildable at all? In the workshop we will try out a very special design method ourselves, which we will then also implement with a lot of courage for lightness!
For children from 8 years. With Enrica Ferrucci, architect / ichbaumit.
SUN 18.09.22 / 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
SUN 10.23.22 / 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
SAT 26.11.22 / 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
P.S. Can't wait for autumn? Or would you rather build at home, during the summer holidays or just surprise someone with it? No problem! FREI is also available as a workshop to go in the ichbaumit construction box including instructions, material and tools. Available at www.ichbaumit.com / ichbaumit@gmx.de and while stocks last...
The face-to-face workshops in the Architecture Museum are free of charge with the kind support of the Förderverein des Architekturmuseum der TUM.
