The lecture "What if. On the potential of games for digital archiving." will examine new game formats such as the "Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece" of the adventure game "Assassins Creed", in which players will also encounter 3D scans of artefacts and architectures from well-known archaeological collections. Yvonne Zindel presents some of these examples from practice and asks: How could such cooperation in the future promote innovative, multi-perspective research in collections and archives?
